Hi! Everyone, hope you all are fine.
Today in this post I will tell you some facts about Vodafone Zoozoo Advertisements. Almost all you have must have watched Vodafone Zoozoo Ads they are so cute and funny ads and all of you love ads, so do I. I have won some Zoozoo geodies from Vodafone and even I have told you how you can watch all the Zoozoo ads online. But can you tell me are those Zoozoo ads are cartoon characters or animated ads? Do you think those are animated, let’s find out.

When IPL-T20 was going to start Vodafone asked their Ad agency Ogilvy & Mather (O&M) to make series of 30 advertisements which could be aired each day during the IPL. According to Rajiv Rao, National Creative Director of Ogilvy & Mather, they “wanted to make real people look as animated as possible”.

These Zoozoo characters are real human (women and kids) wearing white fabric costume and they are using rubbers to make facial expressions. The effect was achieved by a variety of methods including choosing the right material for the body suits to ensure that there were no wrinkles when the characters moved, shooting the footage at lower framerates and keeping backgrounds simple in terms of details and the use of a neutral tone of grey. The sets were made larger than life to make the characters look small as the producers could not take children as the schedule of shooting was odd.

It was such a huge success that they have got more than 2 million fans following on Facebook and most watch ads on the internet. Here is the making of Vodafone Zoozoo ads.
