Today in this post I will tell you how you can change where all mailto links will open. Whenever we click on any link which linked to an email address always open Microsoft Outlook (or any other default mail manager) and when you don’t use mail manage to check your emails then most of you must get irritated from this.
So if you use Firefox then you have a solution for it. Firefox lets you choose where mailto links will open. If you want you can chose Gmail, Yahoo Mail or any other email manage or decide whenever you click mailto link. To change mailto option
- Open Firefox
- Select Tools –> Options (from menu bar), if you can’t see menu bar press Alt key
- Then click on Applications tab and search for mailto
- Now from right (Action) column select the way you want mailto link should open
- Then click on OK button
