How To Redirect All Your WordPress Blog Feed To FeedBurner With FeedBurner FeedSmith

If you are a blogger and provide RSS feed for your blog update then you must be using FeedBurner because it not only optimize your feed for your readers but it also lets your reader subscribe for email notification, you can see feed stats, monetize your feed with Google AdSense, etc. so if you didn’t setup a FeedBuner for your blog feed, click here to know how.

Now you have a FeedBurner feed of your blog, now we need to redirect your blog default feed to FeedBuner so that your readers can subscribe through FeedBurner instead of your blog default feed. If you use Blogger.com as your blogging platform then you can do it to from settings page, you can read about it here.

Else if you use WordPress as your blogging platform then you can use a WordPress plugin called FeedBurner FeedSmith made by Steve Smith. You can download it from here, install it into your WordPress blog and activate it.

Now open FeedBuner settings page from your WordPress dashboard hover over Settings icon and then click on FeedBurner.

In Set Up Your FeedBurner Feed page of your blog give your FeedBurner feed URL in first form and in second if you also have a FeedBurner feed for your blog comments then give it in second form else its optional you can leave it blank or give the same URL which you have given above.

Now all your WordPress blog feeds will get redirect to your FeedBuner feed URL, if you want you may easily have your FeedBuner feed URL on your custom domain instead of using FeedBuner default URL.
