Today in this post I will tell you how you can get email updates of channels you have subscribed on YouTube. Today morning when I came online and checked my emails I how I have an email from YouTube titled “Subscription Update – Apr 16, 2011”. I don’t know from how long this feature was there, I didn’t changed any settings also and today first time I have received such email.
I really needed this feature because every time go to YouTube page and see which new videos are available become pretty hard in compare to daily updates via email but this is not a daily update, it is weekly update. I wish there is any option by which I can get daily updates. Anyways if you weekly update via email then let me tell you how
- Go to YouTube.com
- Login to your account
- Click on your username (top-right corner) –> Account –> Account Settings –> Email Options
- Now search for option called Subscription & YouTube Updates
- Select Send subscriptions updates once each week
- Click on Save Changes
Now once in every week you will get update from YouTube on all the channels you have subscribed to. If you have any question or problem let me know.
