Find Out What Is Your IP Address With CMD (Command Prompt)

Hi! Everyone, hope you all are fine.
Today in this post I will tell you how you can find you IP address using CMD. Whenever you connect to internet or to any network so your computers receives an IP address, which helps you to transfer data. I have told you how you can check your IP address through WhatIsMyIPAddress.com, now let me tell you how can check without opening any website or even without opening any web browser.

Follow these steps:-

  1. Press Windows key + R from your keyboard or go to Start button and open Run dialog box
  2. Now type the below line in Run dialog box
  3. cmd /k ipconfig

  4. Then press OK button
  5. Now a Command Prompt dialog box
  6. In that search for IPv4 Address, in that you will see something like 16.7.19.92 (it can be any number)
  7. CMD - IPConFig - IPv4 Address
