Run .EXE Files As Administrator, Without Administrator Login

Hi! Everyone, hope you all are fine.
Today in this post I will tell you how you can run any .EXE file as administrator (admin) without administrator login. Form last few days I couldn’t not able to update my blog as because I was busy in some family function. Anyways now come back to the point few days back I was installing some software on my computer with non-admin user login and to install that software it was asking for admin access.

So to do so do I need to logout and login to admin user account? No, just need to right-click on that file and select Run as administrator.

Run as administrator

Now if admin user account is password protected then it will ask to type the password of that admin user account and then click on Yes button.

User Account Control

Now it will start running your .EXE file as administrator.

Note: – This option is only available for Windows Vista and Windows 7.

How To See Hidden Files And Folders Your Computer

Hi! Everyone, hope you all are fine.
Today in this post I will tell you how you can hide, unhide and see the hidden files in your computer. I know many of you know about this, it is for those who don’t know and want to know. Two years back I huge too don’t know how I can see the hidden file in my computer but I know how to hide it, I hide my many files but didn’t know that how I now see them and every time I have call my brother to unhide them and he is also not telling me how he do and he don’t even do in front of me. But later on somehow I get to know how he do (don’t remember how I get to know) so now I am sharing it whit you how you can hide, unhide and see hidden files.

To hide any file(s) or folder(s)
1.       Go to the place where that file or folder is
2.       Right click on that file/folder icon
3.       Now select Properties

4.       Select General tab
5.       There you will at the bottom under Attributes called Hidden
6.       Select the box beside Hidden
7.       Click on OK button

Now that file/folder is hidden
To see any hidden files and folders
1.       Open My Computer
2.       See at the top in Menu bar
3.       Select Tools –> Folder option
4.       Now select View tab
5.       There you will see writer Hidden files and folders under Hidden files and folders
6.       Select Show hidden files, folders, and drives radio button
7.       Click on OK button

Now you can see all hidden files and folders in your computer. Hope this will help you in hiding your files and folders.

How To Make Use Of Windows Key In 20+ Ways

Today in this post I will tell you how you can use Windows Key in many different ways. Windows key is the which have four squares made on it and stuck in the middle of Ctrl and Alt key (left side of your keyboard), Mostly use (if anyone use it)as the shortcut key for opening Start menu at the down-left corner of your screen.

Below I will refer Windows key as Windows icon ⊞

  1. ⊞ : Start menu
  2. ⊞ + B = Focus on Notification bar (beside where you see time)
  3. ⊞ + D = Minimize all window and goes to the desktop (if you press it twice it will reopen all the window which get minimize)
  4. ⊞ + E = Windows Explorer
  5. ⊞ + F = Search window (to search files and folder in your computer)
  6. ⊞ + G = Bring Windows Sidebar gadgets in front and makes the focus it
  7. ⊞ + L = Lock the active user (if it is password protected) and switch user
  8. ⊞ + R = Opens Run dialog box
  9. ⊞ + T = Focus on items opened in Taskbar
  10. ⊞ + U = Open Utility Manager also known as Ease of Access
  11. ⊞ + M = Minimize all window
  12. ⊞ + Shift + M = Restore windows that were minimized with ⊞ + M
  13. ⊞ + F1 = Windows Help window
  14. ⊞ + Alt + Entre ↵ = Open Window Media Center
  15. ⊞ + 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 and so on = Switch between windows
  16. ⊞ + + / - = Open the Magnifier Utility
  17. ⊞ + Ctrl + F = Find Computer
  18. ⊞ + Ctrl + Alt + Entre ↵ = Open Properties of any selected files and folder
  19. ⊞ + Tab ⇆ = Change/cycle focus on desktop and Taskbar (may not work if all application is not minimize)
  20. ⊞ + Pause / Break = System Properties
  21. ⊞ + Shift + ← / → arrow key = Move the active window from one monitor to the other (when more than one monitor is used)
  22. ⊞ + Ctrl + Tab ⇆ = Focus goes to Quick launch toolbar (use Tab, left arrow and right arrow key to navigate) (may not work if all application is not minimize)

Note: – Some of the function may not work in Windows XP. If you don’t have Windows key on your keyboard then you can use Ctrl + Esc to open Start menu.

Today in this post I will tell you how you can get some cool themes and wallpapers for your Windows PC. Few days back I have upgraded my computer from Windows XP to Windows 7 and I m so excited to write so many thing on Windows 7 and I will try to do so. As Windows 7 is a new version so it will defiantly have lots of things changes and new, same goes for themes.

To change theme in Windows 7
1.       Go to your desktop
2.       Right-click on it
3.       Select Personalize

4.       Now just click on the theme which you want it on your PC and it will get applied

Download more themes for Windows 7
1.       Go to your desktop
2.       Right-click on it
3.       Select Personalize

4.       Then click on Get more themes online or simply Click here
5.       You will get bunch of categories to choose from like

6.       After you decided which theme you want to use click on Download link near that theme

Note: – But when you will reboot (restart) your PC then the wallpaper will get change to default. So it won’t get change just select the wallpaper you want from that wallpaper folder and make it permanent wallpaper just right-click on that wallpaper and select Set as Desktop Background.

Keep your Important window Always on Top

Hi! Everyone, hope you all are fine.
In this post I will help you in keeping your one window on top of the other window you are working on.

Think when you are watching a video in a player (let’s take VLC media player) and also working on word or surfing on the internet in maximized mode. So, when you are watching the video and switch to the browser the VLC media player disappears as it went back, behind the browser.

So what you do when you are watching the video and also suffering on internet or working on word???
Possible solution can be:-
1.       Keep on switching the windows.
2.       Resize the window size.
3.       Or do one work at a time.

But now you don’t have to do all this, let see what is the solution to keep the player (or any other window) on top of the other, even after switching the one window to other.



Surfing on the internet but the player is always on the top.



Working on the MS Excel but the Calculator is always on the top.

1st download Always on Top utility, Click here (<200 kb).
Its free utility written in Autohotkey which will stick the any program window to the foreground (on top) of your desktop.

After downloading open the zip file in to your computer

Now run the always-on-top.exe file.

Now select the window you want to keep on top (like in upper example VLC media player window will get selected), after selecting the window press Ctrl + Space Bar this is the shortcut key to stick the window to the foreground of your desktop. Now wherever you want to keep that window in your screen you can keep it, it will come on top of every window. And do all your work without letting hide the other window.

And if you want to disable it press the same shortcut key Ctrl + Space Bar this will disable the sticking.
