How To Make Use Of Windows Key In 20+ Ways

Hi! Everyone, hope you all are fine.
Today in this post I will tell you how you can use Windows Key in many different ways. Windows key is the which have four squares made on it and stuck in the middle of Ctrl and Alt key (left side of your keyboard), Mostly use (if anyone use it)as the shortcut key for opening Start menu at the down-left corner of your screen.

Below I will refer Windows key as Windows icon

: Start menu
+ B = Focus on Notification bar (beside where you see time)
+ D = Minimize all window and goes to the desktop (if you press it twice it will reopen all the window which get minimize)
+ E = Windows Explorer
+ F = Search window (to search files and folder in your computer)
+ G = Bring Windows Sidebar gadgets in front and makes the focus it
+ L = Lock the active user (if it is password protected) and switch user
+ R = Opens Run dialog box
+ T = Focus on items opened in Taskbar
+ U = Open Utility Manager also known as Ease of Access
+ M = Minimize all window
+ Shift + M = Restore windows that were minimized with + M
+ F1 = Windows Help window
+ Alt + Entre ↵ = Open Window Media Center
+ 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 and so on = Switch between windows
+ + / - = Open the Magnifier Utility
+ Ctrl + F = Find Computer
+ Ctrl + Alt + Entre ↵ = Open Properties of any selected files and folder
+ Tab ⇆ = Change/cycle focus on desktop and Taskbar (may not work if all application is not minimize)
+ Pause / Break = System Properties
+ Shift + ← / → arrow key = Move the active window from one monitor to the other (when more than one monitor is used)
+ Ctrl + Tab ⇆ = Focus goes to Quick launch toolbar (use Tab, left arrow and right arrow key to navigate) (may not work if all application is not minimize)

Note: – Some of the function may not work in Windows XP. If you don’t have Windows key on your keyboard then you can use Ctrl + Esc to open Start menu.

Animation In Google Docs (Demo Slam)

Today in this post I will show you an animation created using Google Docs. Google Docs is an online web app where you can do thing what you do using Microsoft Office. Where you make your school/office project/presentations etc.

Few weeks back three animators in three days and from three different cities to crate this great animation Google Docs, it’s a presentation of 450 pages. Where each page (slide) works as each frame of animation like flipbook. Let’s have a look to it

How To Clear Cache In Six Major Browsers

Hi! Everyone, hope you all are fine.

Today in this post I will tell you how you can clear cache in six major browsers (Chrome, Epic, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera and Safari). All of you have heard word cache but do you know what cache is? When you visit a site for first time it takes little time to load as compare to you visit the same site again for second time. It will load faster in second time as because when you visited that site for the first time it store some data from that site in your computer. So when you visit that same site again instead of collecting those data from the internet, those stored data in your computer where collected which make it load faster.

So when any changes where made in data it won’t get change in your cache, so that’s why sometime we were told to delete the cache. So here how you can delete the cache in six different browsers.

Chrome

1. Open your browser

2. Click on Customize and control button

(top-right corner of the browser)

3. Now click on Options

4. Select Under the Hood tab

5. Under Privacy you will see Clear browser data… click on it

6. Now tick the Empty the cache box

7. And select the period of how old cache you want to delete (e.g.: last hour, last day, Last week and so on)

8. Now click on Clear browsing data

Now your browser cache is deleted.

Epic

1. Open your browser

2. Go to Tool –> Options… –> Privacy –> clear your recent history

3. Select the time range, how old cache you want to delete (e.g.: last hour, last day, Last week and so on)

4. Now tick the Cache box

5. Then click on OK button

Now your browser cache is deleted.

Firefox

1. Open your browser

2. Go to Tool –> Options… –> Privacy –> clear your recent history

3. Select the time range, how old cache you want to delete (e.g.: last hour, last day, Last week and so on)

4. Now tick the Cache box

5. Then click on Clear Now button

Now your browser cache is deleted.

Internet Explorer

1. Open your browser

2. Go to Tools –> Internet Options

3. Under General tab you will see Delete button click on it

4. Tick Temporary Internet files

5. Then click on Delete button

Now your browser cache is deleted.

Opera

1. Open your browser

2. Go to Menu –> Settings –> Preferences…

3. A popup will open in that popup

4. Go to Advanced –> History

5. Click on Empty Now button

Now your browser cache is deleted.

Safari

1. Open your browser

2. Press Alt (if you can’t see the menu bar at top)

3. Now go to Edit –> Empty Cache…

4. Now a popup will open

5. In that popup click on Empty button

Now your browser cache is deleted.

Tip: – For instance you can use Ctrl+R to delete the cache for that particular page you are in.

Few days back I have upgraded my computer from Windows XP to Windows 7 and I m so excited to write so many thing on Windows 7 and I will try to do so. As Windows 7 is a new version so it will defiantly have lots of things changes and new, same goes for themes.

To change theme in Windows 7

1. Go to your desktop

2. Right-click on it

3. Select Personalize

4. Now just click on the theme which you want it on your PC and it will get applied

Note: – But when you will reboot (restart) your PC then the wallpaper will get change to default. So it won’t get change just select the wallpaper you want from that wallpaper folder and make it permanent wallpaper just right-click on that wallpaper and select Set as Desktop Background.

Microsoft have released there Microsoft Security Essentials 2 beta version. This is freeware software which you can use to protect your computer from malware, virus and other such things. Many people have switched to Microsoft Security Essentials, and even I also use it in one of my PC.

It provides protection that every as good as (may not be better then) any other paid anti software provides (like Norton AntiVirus).
