How To Setup Dropbox On Your Computer

Hi! Everyone, hope you all are fine.
Today in this post I will tell you how you can setup a Dropbox on your computer. Dropbox is one of the most popular services to backup and share files online and it also help you in sync your files with many different computers and mobiles. Dropbox allows you to store up to 2 GB for free and you can expand it up to 8 GB by referring to your friends or buy more space on Dropbox website.

Let see how you can setup Drombox on your computer

1. Go to Dropbox website
2. Signup for an account
3. After you click on Create account button
4. It will redirect to a new page and Dropbox software will start downloading
5. After it get download , open that file
6. Click on Install button

7. After it get install, select I already have a Dropbox account
8. Click on Next button

9. Give your Email ID and Password (which you have give while signing up for an account)
10. In the place of Computer name you need to give a name by which you can easily that from which computer which file is getting uploaded
11. Click on Next button

12. Now select Free if you think you can do your work in 2 GB of space
13. Click on Next button

14. Select Typical (if you want to make your Dropbox folder in C:\Users\USER-NAME\Dropbox)

Or select Advanced to set your own path, where you want to your Dropbox folder to be

15. Click on Install button

16. After everything got setup you will see a small Dropbox icon in right side of Taskbar (beside clock)

Now go to your Dropbox folder and copy the file or folder you want to backup or sync (with other computer login with same Dropbox account), now when your computer will get connected with Internet it will automatically do its work. After your files will get back and sync you can see a green tick mark on that file or folder.
