Today in this post I will tell you how you can use Google Web Fonts in your computer. Google Web Fonts have more than 200 different kinds of fonts which are free to use. Those are more attractive, beautiful and creative then the regular fonts which we have and use in our computer. Those are made especially for blogs and websites, under Open Font License which means anyone can use it anywhere (even in commercial use) they want without any worry.
But how you can use them in your computer? Here how you can, go to google.com/webfonts, add all the fonts (by clicking on Add to Collection button) which you want to download in your computer and then click on Download your Collection link from top-right corner of your screen. It will add all those fonts which you have selected in a zip file and will download it in your computer. After it gets downloaded in your computer copy all the .TTF files from that zip and past it in to your computer’s Font Folder (you will get that folder in Control Panel of Windows computer).
Or if you want to download all the available fonts in Google Web Fonts are available here googlefontdirectory.googlecode.com/hg/. You can use HTTrack to download all the fonts, it may take a lot time to download all the fonts. If you have any question or problem let me know.
Note:- If you use these fonts in a document and send that document to someone and that person don’t have that font in their computer then text may not show in that font style.
