How To Delete Cookies In Six Major Browsers

Hi! Everyone, hope you all are fine.
Today in this post I will tell you how you can delete cookies from six different browsers (Chrome, Epic, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera and Safari). Once I have told you how you can delete cache from different browsers now let me tell you how can delete cookies.

Cookies are used for authentication, storing site preferences, shopping cart contents, the identifier for a server-based session, or anything else that can be accomplished through storing text data. Even when you comment on a blog which runs on WordPress platform and when you visit the same blog again you will see your Name and Email address already field that all because of cookies.

Clear Cookies

Sometimes these cookies can be dangerous also as if someone steal cookies in which your data was stored then they may able to access your online accounts whiteout any ID and Passwords. So if you are using public computer in that case you may want to delete all your cookies from that computer. So let me tell you how

Chrome

  1. Open your browser
  2. Click on Customize and control button Chrome - Customize and control button (top-right corner of the browser)
  3. Now click on Options
  4. Chrome - Options

  5. Select Under the Hood tab
  6. Under Privacy you will see Clear browser data… click on it
  7. Now tick the Delete cookies and other site data box
  8. And select the period of how old cookies you want to delete (e.g.: last hour, last day, Last week and so on)
  9. Now click on Clear browsing data button
  10. Chrome - Under the Hood -- Clear browser data… -- Delete cookies and other site data

Now your Chrome browser cookies are deleted.

Epic

  1. Open your browser
  2. Go to Tool –> Options… –> Privacy –> clear your recent history
  3. Epic - Tool -- Options…

  4. Select the time range, how old cookies you want to delete (e.g.: last hour, last day, Last week and so on)
  5. Now tick the Cookies box
  6. Then click on OK button
  7. Epic - Clear Recent History - Cookies

Now your Epic browser cookies are deleted.

Firefox

  1. Open your browser
  2. Go to Tool –> Options… –> Privacy –> clear your recent history
  3. Firefox - Tool -- Options…

  4. Select the time range, how old cookies you want to delete (e.g.: last hour, last day, Last week and so on)
  5. Now tick the Cookies box
  6. Then click on Clear Now button
  7. Firefox - Clear Recent History - Cookies

Now your Firefox browser cookies are deleted.

IE (Internet Explorer)

  1. Open your browser
  2. Go to Tools –> Internet Options
  3. IE - Tools -- Internet Options

  4. Under General tab you will see Delete button click on it
  5. IE - General tab

  6. Tick Cookies
  7. Then click on Delete button
  8. Opera - Delete Browsing History - Cookies

Now your IE browser cookies are deleted.

Opera

  1. Open your browser
  2. Go to Menu –> Settings –> Preferences…
  3. Opera - Menu -- Settings -- Preferences…

  4. A popup will open in that popup
  5. Go to Advanced –> Cookies –> Manage Cookies…
  6. Opera - Preferences - Advanced -- Cookies -- Manage Cookies…

  7. Now select each folder and click on Delete button (like this you delete all folders)

Now your Opera browser cookies are deleted.

Safari

  1. Open your browser
  2. Press Alt (if you can’t see the menu bar at top)
  3. Now go to Edit –> Preferences…
  4. Safari - Edit -- Preferences…

  5. Now a popup will open
  6. In that popup select Security tab –> Show Cookies button
  7. Safari - Security tab -- Show Cookies button

  8. Now click on Remove All button
  9. Safari - Show Cookies - Remove All

  10. Then again a popup will, click on Remove All button
  11. Safari - Are you sure you want to remove all cookies - Remove All

Now your Safari browser cookies are deleted.
