Hi! Everyone, hope you all are fine.
Today in this post I will tell you how you can create shortcut key to open any webpage. We generally bookmark many websites which we visit often (like: Facebook, Google, Twitter, Yahoo, etc.) so that we can don’t need to type full address all the time. Sometimes we wish if we could get some shortcut keys to open thm. Some of us have many website which we visit on daily basis but we need to search them on our bookmark list because of many links bookmarked they hided somewhere in list.
So the better option is to create shortcut keys for each website you visit most. Here how you can
- Drag and drop (on Desktop or in any folder) the webpage/website link of which you would like to have shortcut of
- Then right-click on it and select Properties –> Web Document tab
- Click on Shortcut key box
- Now press the keyboard combination that you wnt to use to open that webpage/website*
- Then click on OK button
*The shortcut combination must contain one character (a letter, number or symbol) and at least two of the following three keys: Ctrl, Alt and Shift.
Now whenever you press those keys that webpage will open in your default web browser, like this you can create shortcut key for 100s of webpage/website, you can also create shortcut for any file, folder or application. If you have any question or problem let me know.
