How To Select Multiple Files Using Check Box In Windows 7

Hi! Everyone, hope you all are fine.
Today in this post I will tell you how you can select multiple files and folder with checkbox. When you select many files and folder (but not all) what you generally do use drag-drop selection, Ctrl or Shift key to select but if once by mistake everything got deselect then you need to select everything all over again.

check boxes to select

So there is a better way if you are using Windows 7.

  1. Open My Computer
  2. At top Menu bar, select Tools –> Folder option (if you can’t see menu bar press Alt key)
  3. Now select View tab
  4. There you will see writer Use check boxes to select items, select it
  5. Then click on OK button
  6. Use check boxes to select items

If you have any question or problem let me know.

Note: – this might also not work properly as because when you will click on any file or on blank place (instead of checkbox icon) it will deselect everything and you again have to select everything.
